Has it really been nearly a year since I last published anything new here? In as spectacular of an event since the Orville Wright first lifted from the ground, time has also learned to fly.

I can’t say exactly as to what has kept me from writing anything new for the last fifty-some odd weeks, but know that I do have some new material that I do wish to share though I have yet to coax it from my fingertips as one might charm some sort of serpent.

In the last few months I started work on a complete new layout backed by a custom content management system. Overall the rollout seems to be a success save for a few instances which are being addressed. The new layout in combination with the onset of a rather robust, mid-winter depression led me to putting my photoblog on hiatus for the time being. I’d like to gladly announce that my photoblog Greent is back in action, and is joined by a sister moblog for shots from my phone for no reason other than my own self-amusement. So enjoy and tell your friends! (I could use the traffic!)

So what else is new? Starting this fall I will be attending a new university; transferring from Michigan State University to the University of Michigan. Some people find that a rather weird transfer since the two are just somewhat less than mortal enemies. If you were in the same room as me as I type this you might just see my shoulders shrug because that’s what I’m doing on the thought of the subject. In addition to the university transfer I have been giving a good deal of thought to the idea of branching out into a medium a touch more tactile, e.g. prints (shirts and possibly posters). Exciting, I know.

Oh yes, and not to mention that I’ve switched from the old url to what you now see above in your address bar. And such is the state of AlexJacque.com formerly known as Promethean Studios.
